The headwaters of the Snake River are a dynamic place, in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest intact functioning ecosystem in the United States outside of Alaska. It’s also home to native Snake River cutthroat trout – the only remaining subspecies of cutthroat trout in the West that still dominates in its home range. The watershed is a critical network of Priority Waters and needs your support. Thank you for your generosity to help us conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries in the Snake River Headwaters!
